The Official Pingu YouTube Channel is a YouTube channel that posts clips of episodes. The clips were mostly from Season 1-4 Episodes but when the channel started uploading, they also did Season 5-6 episodes for little while but decided to do only Season 1-4 Episodes afterwards. The channel was created on December 20th, 2005, but did not start uploading videos until April 4th, 2007. After the channel's clip of the episode, Pingu's Birthday in 2014, the channel stopped uploading for 6 years until returning on December 1st, 2020 with a video of Ice Hockey. However, the way the videos are posted has changed from being small clips of episodes to one video with multiple episodes inside of it. On December 17th 2020, the channel started uploading Pingu in the City episodes with the first episode to be uploaded being Pingu Saves Christmas. Only 2 videos were not clips of episodes, one of them was the intro for the The Pingu Show while the other was an introduction to the channel.
As of 2023, The channel is currently runned/operated by WildBrain Spark, an subsidiary of Canadian media company WildBrain.
Trivia []
- Banned Episodes like Pingu's Dream and Little Accidents are surprisingly here with the clips of them having the part that got them banned in the first place.
- The channel has a link in the about page that would take you to The Official Pingu Website. However, it redirects to the Pingu in the City English website when clicked.
- Some of the channel's videos can be found on Fisher-Price and (formerly) various WildBrain YouTube channels[citation needed].
