June 16, 2021: The 40th Anniversary DVD, The Best of PINGU has been released in Japan.
May 15, 2021: Pingu gets a new render
December 1, 2020: The Offical Pingu Youtube Channel has returned to uploading videos
March 30, 2020: To commemorate Pingu's 40th Anniversary, a "Pingu" exhibition is set to take place at the Matsuya Ginza store in Japan, during the period 12-24 August, 2020. [1]
November 12, 2019: The "Pingu" series receives an official 40th Anniversary logo.
June 7, 2019: Two original Pingu models have been displayed at the "Alles Kneten" exhibition in Museum of Art and Design Hamburg.
