Switzerland Release from 1993
Pingu Hits is an Swiss and German cassette/CD compilation music album published by SRG/Editoy from 1993 only to the Swiss German Version released in Switzerland and Europa Mini for the Standard German version from 1994 in Germany.

Germany Release from 1994
It features nineteen songs consisting of the titular character Pingu, made by David Hasselhoff, Basic Kids (Swiss German: Katz Kids), John Brack, Eric Weber, Antonio Conde, Toni Vescoli and Drönland.
The Switzerland release of the album originally featured Katz Kids (a children’s music group formed by Bo Katzman, a Swiss Gospel choir musician) instead of Basic Kids for the Germany version. Most of the tracks from the other artists remains the same (other than the ones John Brack and Toni Vescoli sang originally for the Switzerland release of the album but also produced their tracks in Standard German for the Germany version).
