Pingu's Father (a.k.a. Papa) is a main character in Pingu. He is voiced by the late, Carlo Bonomi, Simon Gisler in SRG Europa German audiobooks, Henry König in Karussell German audiobooks, David Sant & Fumiya Tanaka.
Bio
He works to deliver the mail.
In Pingu Delivers the Mail, his son helped him to deliver the mail and was even allowed to wear his postman's hat. They picked up the mail from the post office and then delivered it around the town.
Personality
As a father, he cares and loves his family very much. He can be a bit grumpy sometimes, but loves having fun with his children. He also tends to get clumsy, which often leads to him getting scolded by his wife.
Appearance
He is a tall penguin with a long, tringular shaped beak.

Trivia
- In the earlier episodes of Pingu, he used to smoke on some occasions, but he stopped in The New Arrival shortly after Pinga was born, though there were still some occurrences afterwards where he smokes. Although Tony Wolf’s book adaption of Music Lessons still shows him smoking.
- He looks slightly different in Noise compared to his normal appearance and can easily be mistaken for a new character (in fact, that's actually been the case many times). In Noise he has a much rounder looking head, making him look like his Pilot model.
