Küchenchef is the original theme tune for Pingu used from 1990-1995.

It was composed by Antonio Conde.

Trivia[]

  • This theme song is also used as the intro for the The Official Pingu Website but PAL pitched in the US.
  • An extended version with the theme song looped and combined with sound effects from the series can be found on the cassette compilation titled The Very Best of Children's BBC Theme Tunes.
  • A lyrical version was made in Swiss German for audiobooks and VHS closings. This version was re-recorded by Katz Kids and Basic Kids for audio releases.
