Pingu Forever! was released on DVD and VHS in 2003. It contains 24 Episodes. however, after HiT became the distributor of the show and when they remastered the episodes in 2002, they chose to use the 1990s redubs of Season 1 and 2 (previously released in Australia) rather than the original versions which were used on UK home video releases before being acquired by HiT Entertainment. As a result, the episodes on this DVD and subsequent DVDs from the first two seasons are presented with their redubs.

- This is the first Pingu DVD released by HiT Entertainment in the UK, after they bought the show's license from the BBC.
- This is the first Pingu DVD released in Australia by Magna Pacific.
- The promo picture that was used on the Web Link menu for this DVD was later reused on the "A Very Special Wedding" and "Pingu the Snowboarder" DVDs.
- This is one of the few releases that never got it's own official American release in the United States.
- This is the first Pingu DVD and VHS from the UK to feature the remastered episodes of Season 1 and 2.
- This is the only Pingu DVD in the UK to use the 1997 HiT Entertainment logo.
- This is the first time in the UK that the footage of the Pingu endcard is used. The only change is the copyright info.
- The promo that was on various DVD and VHSs released by HIT Entertainment in 2003-2005 to promote this release uses clips from Hello, Pingu, Ice Hockey, Skiing and Pingu the Conjurer's Apprentice though these episodes didn't appear on this release and wouldn't receive an DVD release in the UK until seven years, plus some of the Children's Favourites DVDs which also featured some of those episodes.
